I know a guy that bought two of those motors and they are bumped up to 550 HP, come with warranty and new exhaust still in the crate/wrapper. He has 600 hours on them so far in salt water, run wide open all the time, even races with those motors, not one problem..........:evilb:

The engine in the picture is a 1st edition 500 EFI, so it is at least 9 years old. They switched to the updated model in late 2000 / early 2001. Tell him you will write a check for $5000 and just wire the extra back :rolleyes:
