How many inches per foot does water rise coming off the bottom of the boat??

It obviously raises a lot faster at lower speeds and as speed increases it raises slower...so what are some general rules of thumb????

one inch per foot of setback is the rule of thumb for drives height to set x dim

multiply the hypot something by the pie R squared of the square root to the 4th power with the co-sign. All I know the throttles are on the right and the gas fill is on the left. Just joking obviously, but I really can't help you.

Dude, drink some more alcohol, and then if you still want an answer, call the factory.

Let us know what they say. Only 2 EXACT boats can use the calculations for that.

Only the guy that built the boat can tell you, and even some of those guys have probably never thought to figure that one one out.

glass dave is right the rule of thumb is 1" per foot of set back , however this does change with speed . mount under water camera ( can zip tie to steering bracket ) has to be outboard video gear case at speed if you have friend with fast boat get them to run beside you with someone with good binoculars to see

or get Sharkey to fly along side you and take a ton of high res pics :D

I still think my scientific formula is the best. Can't miss. Basic math. Or something like that.

I think it is something closer to this.

e^(i*pi) [ = -1 ] N)

What are those ventilator hoses for on your drives?? What function do they perform??

jeff1000man 10-07-2009 10:39 PM

Or if you are calculating for a BAJA

phi^n = phi^(n-1) * phi^(n-2)
