Spend the money on a survey. Although for $10K, if he puts another 10 into it and has a solid boat, still not bad for a 33' offshore.

is the stripe on the boat green??? if so its on my fathers canal to be honest dont really ever see it out???? the hull does look very clean though. sharp looking boat

seems like a deal if it has bravos, they didnt come on that in 85. atleast i dont think they did, i need that boat to repower a non engine boat so if your buddie dont get it let me know.

i understand what your saying about bottom paint, i am pretty sure it stays in the water so you would have to protect the hull. anybody know what a boat survey would cost and who does them. the stripe on the boat is green

That Was My Old Boat I Sold It Maybe 10 Yrs Ago ,,Was Blue The Guy Painted It A Few Years After I Sold It To Him And Painted The Bottom Left It In The Water ,,Also Was A TRS Boat,,, The Guys Name Was Gerard And Owned Lands End Restaurant In Sayville Looks Like The Same Motors They Made Some Good Power ,,When I Had It,, It Ran 78 All Day Long And It Accelerated Real Hard Put You Back In The Seat,,Had To Replace The Rear Bulk Head Had Some Rot Other Wise It Was Good But That Was Also 10 Years Ago,, Dont Know What Shape Its In Now???,,A Survey Would Cost About 400.00 Or So Probably A Good Investment At This Point

you said there was rot in the rear bulk head, i am not sure where that is. just want to check around that area for any more rot. thanks
