Scammers Hit the Classifieds
 

Here's a good one. I got this identical message sent to me on 9 ads this afternoon from the same guy with the address [email protected].

Hello, I'm so delighted to keep you aware that i have found your (advert) very Interesting to purchase.Please update me if it still very much available for sale.More importantly i will like to know if there is any body damage on it.. It's will also be nice of you if you can provide me with some pictures so that i can be fully satisfied with it. If everything is ok with you, i will be looking forwards to read from you soonest....

I get hit with these phishing mails almost weekly from the classifieds. Ready to buy, no specific reference to the product, want your information.... Alright kids, who can guess how this goes if you play along?

you'd think some of these guys would at least try to lessen the broken English but it certainly does make 'em easy to spot. I swear i get a little chuckle seeing them try though lol. Almost as funny as talking to some of the tech help lines in India and them telling you there name is Judy or Bob, that always cracks me up :D

I get them like crazy off of Craigslist. Sad if someone actually falls for the BS. You would have to be a complete idiot

99 a month out of my debit card account ,I and my wife missed it for 14 months. I was at my bank complaining something was phucked up. the manager found it we called I asked what am I getting for this charge and the azz on the other line said I don't no.:angry-smiley-038: I asked for the address it was a po# box , so I said well I have friends that work at the post office and I will get the address and pay you guys a visit. He hung up. I got back 200 bucks and changed the card #. the only thing I could think of was some hangers I bought off the TV drunk one night for my wife the ones that fold down and hold 3 shirts in the space of one. man I am still pissed the po was out in the mid west. art

I have a Daytona for sale in the classifieds I think that is what he was asking about.
I wish someone was sea trialing it they would have no reason not to buy it.
