I might consider buying that lower for the internals if the price is right. Tell the owner to PM me if he is so inclined.

no joke,he sincerely doesnt know that much about drives, mechanic that did the work told him it was fine and he believed him.

I am not returning the lower, Ill just pull the guts out of it and see whats usable.
Between the parts from this drive, my drive and whatever I get with the refund
I think Ill have enough parts for one good drive and one backup drive.

If your putting a 502 in front of a Alpha, you'll need that back up. Doug

I have been ruuning a big block in front of that 26 year old Alpha for about 6 years (200+ hours ) now.
Took that long for me to break it.
