Dumbass? Isn't that a little harsh? You should show a little more respect for your OSO brothers....
Fountain is a well known product. It may lack certain things, but at least you know what you get .You get a great hull and alot of performance for your $$. Hustler is an unknown. The quality of their boats have been ok, but nothing spectacular. Maybe the latest models have improved. Who knows. Its consistency that counts. Both Cig and Fountain are consistent. And, that's where I would put my $$ before I go with an unknown. Again, I wish Hustler the best and look forward to personally inspecting their new line-up.

The 39 with 700's is probably the best recreational v-bottom on the water IHO. Sorry if this is off topic, but what are the prop specs on your boat? diameter, pitch, blades, etc.

No I see the boat regularly and he doesn't own a trailer so if the boat breaks it is hard not to notice it missing off the lift! Boat has had the MAP sensor changed on both motors and just ate a water pump. Other than that it has had filter/fluid/impeller changes only. Boat has been to the Bahamas three times and the Keys three times (which is actually further from where he lives than the Bahamas). Boat is run once/twice a week and he runs it WFO every chance he gets. He strongly believes having standard XR's vs. shorties extended the life of the drive (to the point he wouldn't buy another boat with shorties even if it was 1-2 mph faster).

I think you have been away from Bravos too long with stock/mild power. Not exactly a identical comparison but I have over 300 hours on my Bravos (377ci 6.2's aren't exactly torque monsters and a 32 Sunsation isn't real heavy ). The only failure I had was a cone clutch back at about 50 hours.

I thought that the illiterate sonofa***** who put the apostrophe behind Cigarette must have gone to boatbuilding school instead of English class. Dave Barry once said that the apostrophe was used to warn you that there was an "s" coming in a hand written sign.

Wait for the next one!!!

Well Hustler's Ad seems to have had some impact - That's what advertising is all about. The next issue of Poker Runs America is at the printers now. Anyone want to guess who they are going after this time ?
