Here are the latest photos, the first layer of transom is in, the central Hog will go in next (carefully carved with a chainsaw) and the second layer of transom will be slotted to go over the Hog - all of this will be laminated with woven combi matt.

A big day today, we released the deck last night and floated the hull free in the mould after turning it back to the upright position. The next step is to make lifting points, move it outside and lift the hull out of the mould - put the two halves of the mould together and get the boat back in the workshop for fitting out. You can clearly see the plants still in the mould for the recesses for the windscreen, they will be taken out later - more photos to follow!

Very Nice,..............Interesting nose on the very tip of the bow.

Can you explain the purpose of the angle of it?
Also can you explain the ridge up the center of that same area?

I would presume to help deflect water in Deep Sea's rather than tear the boat to shreads?
Also guessing the ridge is added strength?

Thanks again for a great thread!

It's out of the mould guys! Very proud of what we have achieved - Kevin and Willy have worked wonders since last Christmas and it looks like it's doing 100mph just sat there!

The device on the nose is there for a couple of reasons - we had a similar thing on our race RIB - it is where we fit the compulsory bow rail into and when you "take the top off one". The shape of it is quite arbitrary and is as much for looks as anything although we have found that it does deflect quite a bit of water and the old boat didn't have a canopy so it was invaluable!

Very cool. The bottom looks alot like an Okie design. Are most Euro performance boats running the these strakes and large steps?

No! And nothing to do with Ocke either - all our own!

Wow! It looks great!
The strakes and big steps give it a real one of a kind look!
It has beautiful lines. I can't wait to see how that hull configuration runs. It is a pretty radical design.

Do you plan to build more of these if it performs as planned?

Or is this the one and only ?

Thanks
Jon
