The Mystic C5000 RC Boats are very popular, don't know how fast they are.......

The tail it is throwing is huge & the turns are nuts! Are you getting the speed from a gun or GPS lol.

Geico's is MHZ's newest RC C5000 as well. Apparently they've tweaked the bottom some. :cool:

I JUST ordered one of their boats about an hour ago, and the guy I talked to at MHZ said Geico will run over 100mph. It has mini turbines on it! :coolcowboy:

He said they now have licensing with Outerlimits to build their boats to spec as well. There's a picture of "XXX" on their site, and it looks identical to the real boat.

The quality & everything about these boats is FIRST class. I'm going to have mine matched to my boat when it arrives in a few days. I'll slowly start building on it from there! Gonna be sweeeeeeeet :drink:

Go to MHZ's site HERE

Once you're there, on the left side of the page, they list all of their boat models. (They have a bad ass 41 Apache replica too...)

Click "Catamaran".

You'll see the Mystic C5000 about halfway down the page, with a picture of Bud Select.

If that's the one you want, or whichever one you want, then call: (239) 225 8505 they are really cool, and the guy that runs the US distributor will probably answer. He knows it all.

Just FYI: To get the "exact" setup as the GEICO rig, you're looking at spening comfortably in the $20+k range. Its' the top of the line model they build, as you would expect from the GEICO guys. :cool:

If they have the model you want in stock, they ship it in 48 hours. They are based out of Fort Myers. Good luck, and post what you got if you decide to buy one! :drink:

Scaled up to full scale from that model to the full size boat the full scale speed is over 300 mph :eek:

This Geico rc-model is really cool, but as a (pro?) model racer, I`ll have to warn you guys; THIS IS NOT A TOY! Not even for you who races the 1/1 scale racers! To build something like this (and don`t waste your money on a project that will end in the garage), you should have lots of experience & skills from easier rc boats first.
I just say this because I`ve seen "rich guys" buy the best and most expence equiptment before without any skills, only to realize they could`nt get it right.
This is not a rc model you just throw on the water and run to have fun with your kids... This is just as hardcore as the real thing...
If you want a cool rc-racer, there`s lots of great projects to start with that`s a lot easier, but have just as much "cool"-effect as a turbine model. MHZ makes a great Skater 399 (just like Nigel`s) where you can put in twin staggered Zenoah, RCMK or CMB 26 ccm`s, with Merc. #6`s, Arnesons, Trimax or whatever drives you want.
