Sorry if this has be posted before but I just saw a GEICO commerical with the MISS GEICO team running it's pretty cool. How long has it been out?

i saw it last saturday during the UF game i think..i know i was watching college football..

I've seen it a couple of ties here in Kansas!! Usually on Speed or the Outdoor Channel.

I saw it last night for the first time. I think it was on ESPN2.

Does this mean they are writing big cat insurance?

I saw it about a week or two ago on TV in Windsor, Ontario. I wish that Geico would have just put the sounds of the Turbines spooling up or at full throttle instead of just showing the boat flying by, it would have had a lot bigger effect for the viewers of that Commercial. Still in all, great to see that Geico has used one of the most recognized boats in Offshore Powerboat Racing.

I saw it on speed the other day...I would have loved to hear the turbine spooling up too but it matches the other powersports commercials for NHRA

I can tell you when the crowd forms at the dock
they love the Spool up.

Silence or music is no substitute for the MUSIC that an Offshore Powerboats, power plants makes. Hell, that is what it is all about. Have you ever seen a commercial for NASCAR with the cars running around the track in silence or to music?

It's on in Michigan. Only problem Geico wouldn't quote insurance on my little 27'. Too much power for the hull . Built motor to merc 500 racing specs. Too fast???? But progressive did. See ya in Key West

Nope I called and tried. I even mentioned my boat isn't as fast as theirs:lolhit: They said they had to get a special outside carrier for that boat.:bsflag:

Yes it's on both channels. So Scotty how much cat insurance does Geico offer? Up to 50' and turbines too? I'll believe it when I see it. Hell I bet they don't write cat insurance. I bet they have to go through Markel.
