496/HO drain plugs

The Merc manual says that there are three "Blue" drain plugs that can be pulled to drain the system if the pump fails. My pump has not failed. I'm just trying to be cautious. I have been able to locate 2 out of three pulgs but not the third. I found one located on the impeller housing, and another on the front of the fuel colling system on the port side of the motors. Can someone pinpoint where the third one is? I ran three gallons of AF throught system, then pumped, then drained the two plugs that I mentioned before. I'd like to be cautious and drain the thired if it does exsist. Can someone help me find this? Thanks

The impeller housing has 2 plugs on it, they are next to each other but one of them is always hard to see and reach. See #10 in this link you will see the Quantity Used is 2. http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show_...=Seawater+Pump.

Also see #5 in this link to make sure you pulled this one and a lot of water came out. http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show_...r+Drain+System

Thanks for the help. I did find one on the front of the impeller housing but not a second. I'm going to look again for that one. It's hard to tell but is the second one you descibed the one on the fuel cooler on the port side? If it is I did pull that one and got a little water out of one motor and none out of the other. But this was after I had pumped it first. I pulled those plugs again after I ran 3 gal of AF throught the system and pumped again and got nothing this time. Not sure what's going on here but I'd rather be over cautious.

Went back out and looked some more. I found the second one on the water pump. I opened those on each motor and got zero water or AF. I think I should be ok at this point.
