McLeod bolster corrosion

I have some late model McLeod electric bolsters that are starting to corrode on the side where the upolstery meets the base. It's not bad yet but it follows the edge of the uplostery for the whole length of the white base. Has anyone else encountered this and what did you have to do to correct the problem? If paint was used, what paint did you use? Thanks

I did not encounter that but my handles on the back sides started to corrode and the powercoat was bubbling up.

I bought two pair of new handles from McLeod and we changed the interior out before I ever installed them. They are brand new, white in color and still in the original packaging from McLeod and anyone needs replacements.

My handles are fine, it's actually the seat base where the upolstery meets the alluminum and the legs attach.

I thought I read somewhere that McLeod was out of business? The poster implied that you weren't likely to hear back from them if you called anyway - crappy service.

Dock - How much $ for the handles (2 sets?).

I heard the same thing. Does anyone know if these seat bases are painted or powder coated? If it's powder coat it's a crappy job. I've seen powder coat submitted to alot worse salt enviroment and not bubble up like this.
