Okay, so what we have is clear indication that there are two separate and distinct ways to measure wave size........

1. Apparent wave height...... top to trough (by the way...what is the source of those " scientest charts")

2. Sea height......sea level to top of wave.... (as in "three foot seas" which are 6 foot waves)

Can we agree?

Beyond that we have "believed wave height" which is the exaggerated size that is claimed at Bars....close cousin to "beer speed"
