The new Ford Scorpion diesel is made of Compacted Graphite Iron which they say is 40% lighter than an iron block. I wonder if Eickert is using that material...

Bob C has Speed Racer MTI as well and repowering with big power. Our other friend just purchased the 40 MTI with 850s on Pier 57. We also have a few other Skaters. My other buddy always had big power cats and just sold the 2010 40 Nortech to buy a new OL 39 with 700's. We are all waiting to see Mike's new Jet Set which should be awesome.

I truly wish the trans didn't blow in Jacksonville because many would've seen what they can do. At Desert Storm, we finished putting the motor in at 2am and drove 90mph, umm wait, if there's any cops, we drove 55 to get to havasu :) We still went 167mph and that only had 1230hp with severe valve float because the wrong push rods were installed, and 1 motor was down 20psi of fuel psi because one of the pumps decided flow was not important!
Also, Justice ran 1075's in KW, it takes race fuel to go along with computer changes, and he plans on using that boat A LOT so 1200's are not really in his plans. You guys seem to have a lot of engine, transmission, belt, pump, pushrod, pressure, etc etc etc issues. Also. when going that fast. It's a good idea to watch where you are going and not have you eyes on the labtop you know. Just a couple thoughts !!!![/QUOTE] Do you think I'm driving, tuning and filming at the same time? Are you kidding me? Fiore was driving, laptop was data logging, I was filming. This was 1 run, normally, I'm watching the laptop. I don't drive and tune at the same time but thanks for the 411, I'll keep that in mind. |
