Outlaws Performance Boat Rally - May 4th 02
 

Hey guys just wanted to let yall know we will be having another
event on May 4th 02. The event will take place on Lake Murray which is centrally located in South Carolina. We will be meeting at Hollands Landing starting at 7:00am.

Schedule

7AM - 11AM - Registration
11AM - 12PM - Drivers Meeting / Door Prizes
12:30PM - Radar Runs Start / Pictures
Optional Lake Cruise till 2:00pm
6PM - Until - After party at JAWS with a Live Band

 Boat Show- Best Paint, Best Setup, Best Complete Rig, and Most Intimidating Boat
 Awards - Most Improved, Best PWC, Long Haul
 ¼ Mile Speed Runs –Get a Certificate of top speed

 Free Shirts and Participant decals to the first 50 boaters that
register
 State Speed Record attempts - Records will be open to
each model of boat made by all US manufacturers. From
John boats to drag boats, if it floats we have a class for it.
 All boats must put in at Holland’s and register inside JAWS
restaurant for the rally. This is not a race it is a gathering.
You will be required to wear all safety gear if you participate
in the ¼ mile radar runs.
 VP Racing Fuel trucks will be on location for your boating needs

ZZGraffics will be onsite
Craig at ZZgraffix will have their trailer there this year doing custom graphics, airbrushed t-shirts and tags.

Days Inn of Newberry will be our official hotel. The event is appox 15 min from the hotel. Their no is 1-800-329-7466 . Mrs Jane McFate is our contact person. Please mention the outlaws boat rally for the discounted rate of 44.00 to 59.00. They are located at exit 74 on I-26 & you can see them from the interstate.

They do have a pool but have been asked that yall not use it for testing your boats.

With a little over a 3 weeks to go, this year's 1st event will be our largest to date. We have boats coming from NJ, FL, TX, KY, GA, VA, WV, AL, PA, AND TN just to name a few. If you're looking for someone to follow down, call me & I'll get you a name and number.

Like our events in the past, we will be donating all profit to the Newberry County Shrine Club to be given to the Shriners Children's Hospital in Greenville SC. If you have never been, it is a eye opening experience.
The hospital not only offers the best care for children that have been burned, they also offer treatment for life threatening diseases such as cancer. They also help the parents in any way they can, mentally and emotionally.

That sounds like a blast! Unfortunately, the date is too close to the SBI Fort Myers race but I am interested in finding out if you have other events coming up?

There has also been a lot of interest in having another event (more like a get togeather) the second Saterday in July (the 13th).
