Something is not set up right if it only runs 62mph. Price will depend on overall condition.

I think Shallow Minded runs right around 80 with 500 Bulldogs.

They say 357 and 359 hours. Seemed awful slow to me, and also we got 50 mph at 43-4400 rpm.

26s are about the right prop assuming a 1.5 ratio on the drives. The boat should run about 43-45 at 3500 rpm and it should definitely run in the low 70s. A 500HP powered 38 w/ 28 Bravos will run about 77-78 top speed. A 502 powered boat should only be about 5-6 slower. Something isnt right on the setup.

heres the basic formula given to me by local marine shop/brokers(several),banks.

go to NADA, punch in engine combo,add-in all foo foo stuff, click on price.

you get HIGH price and LOW price.


TAKE $10-$15K OFF OF LOW and thats your price.

banks will not loan poo for them,no one is interested in them, and they basically have become the red headed bastard step child of an administration that does not believe in nor enjoys a "LUXURY" item.

hell last vintage sports car race here at PIR, they needed something like 200 entries to just CLEAR track costs for fri/sat/sun and they had only 112 entries. hell you cant swing a dead cat without hitting some race team(name the venue) thats not trying to sell out for pennies to the $1000 bill.

Ditto that. Barely 70 on a good day. One with 502mpis I would say no more than 60k. More like an upper 60mph boat.
