No, mine is white with some red/black graphics... I'd post a pic, but I don't think I have the ability on OSO. And I don't have 500's, I have Merc's 540 Bulldog which is completely different engine. With just over 300 hours, I'm looking at having the springs done after the first of the year. Overall, I've been very happy with the ride of the boat. The steps help your top end, but aren't too aggressive where you're going to get into trouble. My manual says the boat weighs right at 10,000 lbs dry, a little heavier than some, but it does good in the rough stuff at LOTO.

I heard the Bulldog was a fine engine. Does it use 87 or 91 octane? And you've been happy in the rough stuff at LOTO with the AVS? That's what we are looking for. A wave CRUSHER.

I know of a clean 2000 38 avs with 600hp innovations and dpx drives. It is very strong sounding and very reliable and runs 82 to 84 gps. It's in maryland at Anchor marine.
