Sorry to hear about this tragic crash. My thoughts and prayers go out to their family and friends. R.I.P. and all of you other racers and performance boaters be careful out there

The resue crew looked like a local community college training class. I believe that had the key West recue crews been present, its possible that this tragedy may have been averted.

Agreed, the rescue crew looked like rookies . Not sure if it would have made a difference though, looks like the canopy failed and the impact drove their helmets straight down , compressing and most likely fracturing their cervical spines, which if severe (looked like it) can shut down the respiratory center. (wouldn't be able to breathe) (Like Dale Earnhardt)
