Probably the same way it works on a diesel. They have turbos in front of the supercharger.

Yeah, But this is a Gas engine no? Gasoline is much more volatile than diesel fuel.

Been done for many years. In WWII, there were a number of very successful Turbo/supercharged engines developed for aircraft. Also as stated earlier, Diesels have been using them for years.

When I participated to Boyne Thunder in 2019. I would have to say that over 1/2 of the new boats there had the Mercury twin turbo engines. The other 1/2 were big center consoles with 3-5 of the Mercury outboards.
