What will we do now!!
Before you guys get to teary eyed and start crying about the end of the 8.1L 496. Wipe away some of those tears and Raylar would like to announce that we have our new 8.1L 496 engine block ready and waiting and guess what, we can make it with 600+ cubic inches too!
So for all those about 40,000 plus 496's out there, we have barely scratched the surface of the market! We will be quite happy just to upgrade and rework the existing 496's and let the rest of the BBC market keep rolling along also considering GM does not build any BBC chevy engines anymore!
What!! Thats right, GM does not build any BBC engines anymore, 496, 502, 454, etc.,etc. and they never will again!
Best Regards and Congratulations to 496'ers!
