In the pic, the brake system, (rotors, drums, calipers, lines, etc) looks SUBMERGED in the (salt?) water, which would allow total saturation with saltwater. Unlike, salted roads, where the salt/stone/slush is drivin through and thrown on the undercarriage, but it's not submersed.

course I'm from MI... sea water has a salinity level. MI roads have a potassium chloride level far above a bit of sea water
which is more corrosive and we see 6 months at times
