Not unless you gut the boat and put in a new tank. If memory serves correctly that's the back end of the tank and the senders can be serviced from that step area. I think it's a structural bulkhead also above that step. Maybe Ed can chime in here and correct me if I'm wrong.

That is the Firewall Bulkhead and it can be moved but it would need restored structurally in its new location.

steve, question for you and sorry to hijack thread but in another thread there was a mention of some 33s being 6" taller, is that correct? i was looking at a few but they are a little low for wifey and not enough headroom in cabin for me but 6" taller would solve all that.

bulkhead doesn't bother me as much as messin with the fuel tank and its location -- C/g! With moving the engines forward 12" that's already a big change but now you move 30 gallons of fuel also and that could be trouble.

That is something you can check with the boat, How does it run full of fuel?

Why go through all that mess, when you can just get the Konrad ACE package?

I've got a new set of Konrads sitting in my shop, I'd have to go buy the Ace's -- not that it's out of the question just trying to make sure I have all the possiblities in front of me before I make a decision.

Adam -- maybe if I had pictures of your boat I'd also know those possibilities.

I have heard good things about your boat -- but it is hard for me to make a judgement call without seeing actually what it is.
Engine and cockpit are the areas that I'd like to see.

Thanks, Dave
