I headed down to Nortech this past Friday to see the factory and check out some things. Terry Sobo was kind enough to take the time and show my Father and I around. I suck at taking pics but snapped off a few anyway. Thanks again Terry.

This 80 is #2 I believe and will be an open cockpit configuration. Nortech seems to think of everything. Most big boats have a bow thruster but the 80 Has a stern thruster as well.

Nice Darren, thanks. I believe the 50's are going to Greece and the red 80 is Red Reynolds new ride. Red has had previous boats from Nor Tech. They do a good job of having solid customers coming back for more. Nice to see NT reasonably busy. :)

that's one of the cleanest shops i've seen

This cool little jet drive boat was built by Nortech using the Sanger mold. The paint was mindblowing with the huge flake in the colors.

Thanks Bob! Yea, they were very busy. I unfortunately didn't get any pics of the new 39 CC open but it was very impressive.

Darren is holding out... I guess 103 is not fast enough anymore on Winnie!

They'll love you over there with a Nortech! Mind you that'll just make you come up here more often!

Yep, Only a few recognizable pieces from the Rip Tide theme.
New 315 Yanmars replacing the trip 1000's.

They are the best of the best.. You call and most of the time they pick up.. if not leave a message and someone get's back to you. Even emails get returned immediatly. I've had 3 Nor-Techs and been very pleased. It's nice to walk in a place once a year and the guys know you on a name basis, and I live 11 hours away. Their service is the best in the industry.

Did they keep the six's with diesels or add arnesons?

Funny to think all 3 diesels combined have less HP than 1 of the previous engines!:lolhit:

I realize its all torque on the 315's

salesmanship 01-19-2010 03:28 PM

The 315's get the Bravo Diesel X.

Might be all torque but the 480 has a lot more of it. Very strange choice of motors.
