Feadship already has a yacht like that with a similar bow design. Do a search for Feadship Predator......

The Axe-bow design as shown here allows the yacht to slip through the waves instead of shouldering them aside, reducing slamming and increasing speed.

The downside is lots of water on deck, requiring lots of drainage.

True. Look at a lot of the war ships and even Battleships at the turn of the 1900's.
