Who does carbon fiber fabrication?
 

I've been looking locally and can find anyone that wants to do this project. I need the mounts in the photo made in carbon fiber. Anyone??

Please - First you need to define what you mean.

Do you mean true f1 style autoclave built Carbon Fibre parts?

Or what the vast majority of boat builders call carbon fibre parts ?

Difference being an autoclave which is pressurized, vs an oven that heats up but doesn't add pressure.

I need true carbon fiber which is vacume bagged. The will be huge amount of force on those mounts at high speed .

Vacuum bags are not the equivalent of an autoclave.

Uncle is right you may need clave work for the best physicals, the most pressure a vacuum pump and bag can achieve is 14.7 PSI on the Beach while an Autoclave is a high pressure Oven where pressures can be in the 10's , hundreds or Thousands of PSI

Now there are Hydroclaves where water can be the working fluid under pressure inside.

One advantage in the event of an explosion you only lose your back wall with the hydroclave while a large Autoclave a city block!

Years Back a guy I knew ran the Autoclave at Lear when they were doing the Lear fan, I saw some carbon pieces they did and Wow what a difference. I have never forgot that.. Looks like a straight forward CNC job to get the mold quickly.

Is there a pressure point, with an autoclave, that too much of the epoxy can be excluded from the mold?
