I've got that tape. It was very rough that day.

You just never know with plum gut. I've been through there where the water is just a light chop.....and then I've been through there on days like you posted where the waves are coming from every direction, and you actually feel like you're moving backward.

I mainly boat on an big inland lake and never have had any problems running in boat chop or 3 footers. I have the old witz end race boat converted to pleasure with 580ci 800hp blower motors, was just curious of its true capabilities? Thanks
This has been pretty interesting to say the least. I can't comment on the realistic conditions or capacity of a 32 Skater however hopefully someday I will be fortunate enough to do so. Always wanted the 36. I have always enjoyed V bottoms however will have a cat some day. I always boat on Lake MI and am glad to hear how well they take the rough water. I have visited Skater a few times and was very impressed each time. I also think it was very cool in regards to the treatment you got. The true signs of really enjoying what you do and believe in.

Your boat looks awesome and I be your proud of and to now be in the Skater Family.

Looks to be running w/an incoming tide when there about to break, probably why the bow is getting sucked into the swell; more fun going against them.

Some of you know this and some may not , I own and have been restoring a 1988 Kevlar / Vinylester 32 classic . it use to run 115 with triple 245 hp OB back in the day . That said been restoring everything for 18 mos and it is going to have 2 new 300 XS . I have raced in a vee bottom in p-5 with the OPA for a few years and what can I expect this 32 to do and not do ? I have never driven this boat and bought it has a basket case

Sorry to not have any info on your project however I am really curious as the the color code. I am doing a project and going to repaint this winter/spring and really like the color you have chosen.
Thanks,
John

Thanks,
I'm looking to update the old yellow used back in the late 70's that was almost like a yellow/orange. I don't want it to Canary looking as it still needs to be similar as I am not going to paint the bottom. I figured I could get a way with a few shades though. Yours really caught my eye.
John
PS my yellow is close to Big Bird. LOL... but true. perhaps a dirty Big Bird.
