You just never know with plum gut. I've been through there where the water is just a light chop.....and then I've been through there on days like you posted where the waves are coming from every direction, and you actually feel like you're moving backward.
Plum Gut is crazy. I've seen huge whirlpools there before. That area of Long Island Sound can snot up real easy.
Sorry to not have any info on your project however I am really curious as the the color code. I am doing a project and going to repaint this winter/spring and really like the color you have chosen.

It was Chin Chin, then raced by my father as STylin, it basically dominated stock class in the early 90s with 3 2.5s...VERY capeable boat to say the least
