The other owner may be Mark Schnepf, who used to build Activators and sold the company. I ran into him one day on the Port Jeff/Bridgeport ferry and he told me that he was going to be building a new line of boats based in Bridgeport. Activators are great rough water boats.

I took a tour of their shop last year when they were just setting up. Very impressinve. I have heard all positive comments about these guys.

Don't have any personal experience, but the people who recommended them to me are old friends and very experienced in this industry.

I would say go for it.

What are they doing to a windscreen on a Nor-Tech cat?? They dont have wrap around windshields and the only open canopy boat is in Canada.

made another pit stop at their shop today got a better look at plug, boat looks like a keeper great lines. would love an outerlimits but price tag is a bit steep. got a mini education on engine packages from co- owner rich stroffolino he really seems to know his stuff. had the expeirence of meeting owner of 50 ft cougar they re- did last year he was very happy with service when boat had a few minor issues. customer services is always a plus , at my next stop ill try to post some pics of their other work i think all will be impressed. clark
