Need a little help for HORBA

Need a little help for HORBA

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The membership of HORBA stand at 9,945 as of this morning. If there are any OSO members who have not joined yet, please give us a little help and join.

We would like to get over the 10,000 member mark before the Miami Boat Show.....so we just need a few more.

Membership is free and our only goals are 1.)To keep alive the history of the sport and 2.)To save as many of the old race boats as we can.

Thank you.... and we hope to see many OSO members at the Miami Boat Show or the various parties. Please come over and introduce yourselves to me or Bobby Saccenti or Brownie or Richie Powers or any of the other HORBA Board members.

Thank you.....we are at 9,986 members as of this morning.

Looks like we might make our goal of 10,000 HORBA members by the date of the opening of the Miami Boat show.

Bit of a virus on the HORBA site. I tried to get to it and my anti-virus went nuts. Some kind of a script type infestation

Okay....here is the latest from the web people.....

We just completed applying the patch to the forum, so everything's up to date & safe there. We checked thru everywhere else (PhotoPost, web site) and everything's clean. Again, there was a hack that I discovered & fixed on Monday; but everything's okay now.

As for slowness, it could be any of twenty different issues: their ISP, heavy internet traffic, hosting server overload, etc., etc. If you continue to get frequent complaints, let me know and I'll submit a trouble ticket. If it's intermittent, it's just the vagaries & complexities of the internet system.

Charlie,

My virus program blocked me from getting into your site, stating malware was present.
