How does a 2002 39' Velocity compare to a 35' Fountain executioner w/same power,build,ride,speed? this would be 500 EFI's

Fountian will not keep up. Ride not as good , and not built as good as VELOCITY. Plus you have 4' more useable boat with VELOCITY.

I used to have a '99 35 Fountain, & my cousin has a 2000 39 Velocity , we boat together quite often, the 39 Velocity is HUGE compared to a 35 Fountain, will do better in bigger water due to size factor alone, both comparable in speed, we both had 500hp's & ran around 80, you would be better comparing is to a 38 or even a 42 fountain

A little off the subject however I have had 38 and 42 Ftn. I actually like my 28 Challenger better than the 38 however the 42 is a whole different ride. Completely awesome. First day out in I hit 4 to 5's + (actual) from every angle and way imaginable. It just didn't make any difference. Very confident in rough water.
