How do like your 176 monochrome? That is the unit I'm looking at, too! Thanks!

I love it, very user friendly, 4 basic page setup, double tap menu for about 15 more pages of stuff.
I use the tidal data allot.
Plus you can electronically turn the picture.
Since mine is hard wired I leave the back-light on all the time.
I have the Blue Chart Chip, way cool....

I think it was worth every cent, I recommend it.

That's the one I was playing with at the Miami boat show and was really impressed with it! I thought it was really intuitively programmed and easy to use! Good thing I have a B-day coming up! :D
