If I was to do it all over again I'd sponge off mom and dad as long as possible! Easily into my mid 20's! Buy your toys now and save as much $$$ as possible! In a few years buy a condo on the water with a hoist for your 38 footer and tell all the naysayers to kiss your ass!!! Realestate is finally where it should be and won't be climbing quick for a long time to come...

Thanks everyone for the help and input. When I bought my baja 1.5 yr. ago the bank would not give a loan out on it. Think they said it had to be a 02 or 03 or newer. I managed to pay cash. However, a lot of ppl I know buying these boats take a line of credit on their house. This is what I will be doing with a rental house of ours.
Here are a few I have found, but I'm sure more will be popping up as the season gets closer. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/boa/1590884060.html http://www.boattrader.com/listing/19...zi-ZX-96424275 http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/5758 http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o32842-en.html |
The Donzi ZR's don't have a cabin (or much of a cabin) though, do they? The Donzi ZX probably has the nicest cabin of the bunch, but all four are great boats. It depends what you want it for...
If amenities are your priority you probably want the Donzi ZX, pure speed the ZR is probably your best bet. And the Cig and Hustler are inbetween. It's a tough decision, but a good one to have! You can't go wrong with any of the three. |
Yes you can see the ZX's deck is raised higher than the ZR for more cabin room. I wouldn't mind the straight V hull so much except for the carb motors which suck a lot of fuel compared to the EFIs.
