Selling a boat without drive and engine????
I hope this doesn't come off as a classified ad. I'm genuinely looking for advice.
How difficult is it to sell a boat without a drive and engine? Has anyone here ever tried. Let's say the boat would normally sell for $15k with an old carburated 454 and Bravo1. How much would you ask for it with everything including all accessories and exhaust, just without an engine and drive? Making the assumption that I don't want it to sit for a year. Thanks |

Thanks Personally, from what I've seen it seems like you can get more for the complete boat, unless you can get your asking price, or almost your asking price from the drives and motors. |
The truth, you will loose your AZZ, here it is cost for the drive 3K, motor 8K, labor rigging 2K, your already at 15K for a 15K boat and havent even purchased the boat. Your best bet is to seriouly take what a person would give you, you can purchase NADA value boat say 25K for 13K all day on craigs list and ebay. Best of luck to you, but one has to ask if you really thought it was a 15K boat why did you remove the drive and motor????
