Before you pull the trigger you should consider one with 850's... The 700 36 Cats are slightly underpowered and the extra 300 HP may not sound like much But the Torque difference between the 700 Pkg and the 850"s is huge.... Going fast is fun, acceleration is the exciting part.... I know this post may piss off some 700 Nortech owners However everyone must agree that there is a BIG difference between The 700 PKG and the 850 Pkg.... I have spent a lot of time in both boats and the 850 Cat wins hands down!!! There may be a little more in maintenance and cost then the 700 Pkg but the difference is well worth it.... No mater what you do make sure the boat you buy has Mercury power and also stealth exhaust is a real nice thing to have.... By the way... Mine is for sale too.... http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o32039-en.html
Mercury 850's and Stealth Exhaust.... Lets Talk...

Thanks mike for the answer but in my case the 850s are way to much maint compared to the 700s.. I would love to get a 850 or a 1075 boat but i dont have that open checkbook that every body seems to have.....LOL... If I did your boat would be in the running...Thanks Frank

MaxonMike, Why are you selling after such a short period of time?

Chuck, The reason why I want to sell is because I would like to get something a bit longer. Most of my boating is in New Jersey and the Atlantic can get some big water. The 36 handles the ocean as good or better then any 36 foot boat could however as we all know, there is no substitute for length. I would also like something with a wrap around windshield.... I'm kinda firm on my price and if I don't sell I'm not going to be pissed if I need to drive it for another season..... I like the boat and its a blast to drive....

Hey Antisocial you should talk to Jay at Spectre sounds like his new boats are what you are looking for his new 32 wide body and his new 36 have wraparound windshields. 700 package is a great package but you might be able to use lower hp with NXTs and save some money

Good luck, another Nor-Tech or leaning another direction? 43 Roadster should do.

how fast are you wanting to go, the 700's will run 122-125mph, and the 850's will run 135-138mph, big difference in maint. and much more on insurance. 700's much more turnkey.
