Trips to twin stagger....how much?

It seems to me that there are several really good deals on triple engine 39-42' + boats out there right now. If you got in the boat at a REALLY good price, sold the drive-train (ex. 525's & XR's) and then rig for twin stagger and 6's, could you come out OK at the end? I have no clue what a re-rig like this would cost. Any thoughts?

I'm sure most will say "find a good deal on a twin-stagger to begin with" but I'm just curious.

Very expensive, usually not worth it, and you will never get any of your money back. Why not just run the trip 525's?? Its a very reliable package.

BTW.....this Apache is a great boat for someone to throw in a nice set of motors and drives on it. It's one of the nicest out there!

Not a sgood as you think, stringers can be different for twin vs trip, and talk about the two drives being spread apart. I would have to agree, just run the tripps.
