Is this worth 20k?

The first thing I noticed was the quality of the vinyl and how well the stripes lined up. Then I couldn't help noticing the layout of the exhaust. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/31-Th...rQ5fMotorboats the discription sounds amazing. The racing history is unknown!

20k is not enough!...

bob_t 03-06-2010 08:48 PM

I like the part about "had to move the exhaust for optimal performance" ... my 8 year old could have done a better job of getting them in a straight line, and, without kinking the flex hose on the risers. Those must be "tuned", stategically placed, kinks to scavenge every little bit of exhaust. The "metal k-tabs" are a dead give-away that this boat was definitely an offshore racing boat ...

craig anderson 03-06-2010 11:16 PM

Does it come with the inflatable water toys in hte v-berth as well?

TeamSaris 03-06-2010 11:31 PM

c_deezy 03-08-2010 03:10 PM

I usually send a smart ass comment to people selling junk like this but the guy sounds pretty serious about all the work he put into it.

How the exhaust hasn't burned through those crooked wet tubes I have no idea...

areyouliving 03-08-2010 04:39 PM

Ahhhhahahahahahaha!! I love the duct tape on the shifter, and that exhaust is kustum! (the spelling is for Audiofn) Somebody needs to email this guy a link to this thread!

Trippin 03-08-2010 04:49 PM

UUUMMMMMM......Hell NO!!!! 20K would be better spent on this ride in our classifieds....

Trippin 03-08-2010 04:55 PM

That thing also has those super rare Edelbrock drives on it !!! Those gotta be worth at least 20K ???? !!!!!

RT930turbo 03-08-2010 11:00 PM

Did anyone else notice the pictures are from 2007... I'm sure the text in the ad is correct, this is a real beauty, he just hasn't had time to get new pictures up. The "all new leather on above cabin seating" sure looks nice...

That's funny right there. Not quite as funny as the ad......but still funny none the less.:lolhit:

MILD THUNDER 03-08-2010 11:40 PM

I noticed on those old 302's, the transom is funny looking. Why did they all have that "bulge" in the transoms??

Uncle Dave 03-09-2010 12:13 AM

The only thing Id dump into that is 10 gallons of gas and a match.

Man, you don't know anything about that.:drink: The transom bulge is just like the middle of the boat........"it is reinforced we believe this is because it was made too withstand the constant pounding of ocean waves in long distance ocean races , however actual history of ocean racing is not know, but this boat is built for speed!!! " :lolhit:

The bump is were the wood is for the transom. You would still replace it from inside if you did that but the top curves so it is almost flush in the middle fo the transom and curves forward as you get to the sides. I would assume it is stronger then a flat transom?

merctwofive 03-09-2010 01:11 PM

Good thing I don't live in Hawiee... he won't deliver there. Maybe I could just drive it over, it is built for the constant pounding...:lolhit:

Yeah that's worth 3-4mph...... on that side

tommymonza 03-10-2010 02:00 PM

WOW I think the guy that measured foir the stripes on the rear seat is the same guy that measured for the exhaust.

nick9671 03-11-2010 06:12 PM
