When we first got my 35 Nordic (same weight and size class as 35 Fountain) we were pulling it back from Havasu and my 3/4 ton Chevy pickup died just as we pulled into a gas station. My wife was driving our Durango.
First of all, the Durango receiver hitch set way low. But we hooked it up anyway since we had to move the boat to a safer place in the parking lot.
We could tell in that brief drive in the parking lot that we would NEVER consider the Durango to even be a back up tow vehicle for that boat.

Don't even think about it!! We used one ONCE to pull a 16' Enclosed motorcycle trailer with 4 bikes in it and it was horrible. sways all over the place, you have to constantly drive the vehicle, you cannot relax for a second. It was the biggest POS I've ever towed anything with.
