Absolutely. Gino knows I'm toying with him, John. The slowest could actually be me. Look forward to seeing you there.

Default Very Unique Run

Just got back from the FPC Sanibel Run. Two days of VERY unique boating. Friday, Stu took us to Cabbage Key for lunch and Saturday we did a Looong run to Everglades City, at times we were running 20 miles offshore! Both places are very unique. You just can't find that kind of "Olde Florida" anywhere else on the planet. We even did air boat tours in the real everglades. This PR was a real nice change from the "been there done that" runs.
I hope they do it again next year.
Thanks S&J for a great job!

Totally agree with what John said.

Bobthebuilder has led Ft Myers Offshore all around Marco and the islands as well as down to Everglades City on a number of runs over the last few years. It's always a blast.

Yesterday was no exception. Thanks again to my well-traveled Canadian friend for letting me tag along on Predator and grab a few pix- it was a fantastic day.

I've started a gallery... you can find the slideshow here.

More pix are coming, here are a few:

It was good to see a Mystic with JBS on the side.

Jay. I was a pleasure to have you aboard once again. Whether it's a run to Cancun or a ride down the coast, there will always be a seat on Team PREDATOR for you. The only downside is when your on my boat taking pictures.......you can't take any of us ..... just everyone else !! LOL ( it's OK, I have lots just the same ) We will do it again soon, and thanks for what you do so well.

This was one of the best runs in a long time. Outside of finally having great Florida weather the event was awesome.
Started out at Sanibel harbor resort and headed south down the coast to Naples, Hamilton Harbor for a card stop.
Then down to the tip of Marco Island and made our way to storied Everglades City.
We had a scenic run winding run through the 10,000 Islands and up into the town. The lunch stop was at a beautiful new marina and upscale RV resort. After lunch we were able to do group runs on airboats for another adventure through the mangrove islands and grass flats.
If you've never had a ride on airboat, they are pretty fun.
The run back took us through the back side of Marco Island and through the Marco river.

For the past few years I've been begging organizers to change up the formats and do something different.
Stu and Jackie came through on this one. The shame was the lack of more boats but the group we had was a great mix.
Thanks to the folks at FPC for a terrific event.
Terry

It was a first class run all the way around. Great weather and great people. It was nice to visit some new places for a change. Although I wasn't planning on getting as close to Cuba as we did on Gold Rush! Forgot to make that turn to port......

The new owner of King of Clubs is a super nice guy and is certainly enjoying his new purchase.
