I remember thinking when the Kean team first started racing that they were such nice, friendly guys, "but they need a bigger boat".....I wonder how that worked out.....

That must have been before I joined the team
Actually, the way I hooked up with Scott to begin with, it was a few weeks before Deerfield, and he needed a crash test dummy to ride along on some testing up in Jupiter. I met him for the first time(actually we had met once before, but just in passing) at his house, 20 minutes later we were launching the Pantera, and heading out Jupiter inlet in some decent size seas, at that point I thought he needed a bigger boat also, but Scott went on to prove that the boat size doesnt really matter, he is going to win regardless of what boat he is in. Glad he was able to get into the boat of his(and everyone elses) dreams.
