Am I the only one on this board that thinks less is more? I certainly think Jeff has some of the greatest video of offshore on the planet but the daily barrage of video, half of which I don't think he had anything to do with other than putting his name across it, seems a bit much. I love watching some of the old school offshore as much as anyone. I guess maybe I have a hangup about him claiming everything. I know he butted in on Stu's boat show run last year and then posted it just calling it a fun run to Key Largo. This kind of thing reminds me of Boat Pix. Hey this is all just my opinion and you know what they say about those.

I say keep posting, I love the old stuff and look forward to his daily posts. If not for Gerardi and Lewis (NNRT) there would be virtually no video history of offshore racing

honestly i dont mind it, some of those clips i had no idea existed. I love the old school back in the day race footage.

I know it's advertising, but he needs to make money to be at the events to document it for us. Plus I like to see the old timers running hard.

Honestly tho, isn't there a section solely dedicated to video??? I agree the videos are cool but why not post them where they belong? Otherwise other advertisers will do the same and this could turn into a total spam forum. Just my .02.

i have to say you two are right. there has been many times when over in the racer's furom in the middle of a good discussion Jeff posts new threads/ adds in ALL 6 furoms at once. yea the pics and vid are cool but what if all the other photo guys did the same thing? or how about teague or CP consantly posting new threads/adds.

Theres a place for his threads and he doesn't seem to follow the rules laid out here on the board.

just seems that jeff gets a pass on doing what others are not allowed?

I really enjoy the old school video footage, too. But when I logged in today, I also noticed all of the FF postings. Right now he has 6 of the 20 threads on the 1st page of the General Section. Maybe OSO can make a section just for his videos.

I kinda like the videos. I'm more worried about Obamas health care bull $hit than Jeff's videos!

It has been real quiet on OSO for awhile now and I just love watching all the racing video's with the sounds that are all about Offshore. There are people on here, who's job it is to monitor the site and I will live with their decision either way it goes but I personally, have no problem with it.

No one complained when he had all the pictures up of the chicks getting naken on the back of that boat! Maybe we can have him consolodate them into one post? I want him to get the exposure that he pays for but I can also see the point of if all of the advertisers did it we would be screwed.

great videos . cool watching them . but some good points as for other guys in his bis and there is a vid section.

I enjoy them as much as the next and appreciate him posting. But, it would be nice if they were all in one specific area for ease of locating and future viewing. Just a thought moderators.:drink:

Honestly though, it runs deeper than videos....all these guys do the same thing whether it's video's or photo's......

Everyone is trying to make a buck, it's all good for me, besides the boards were lacking in content the last couple months....

BUT, look in the last month how many people have come back ;)

Panther is correct, jan-march is always a little quiet, with a lull in racing it seems to spice up the up coming season. But hey I might be a little partial. And what a exciting season it will be With Geico and AMF support and a stunning National TV package for OPA- should be one of the best. Not to mention one of the top teams in the world QATAR coming to play...Keep up the hardwork Jeff!!!!!

I personally would like Bob The Boatbuilder to attach videos(not photos) to all his bedtime stories.
It's like I always like the book and then the movie version so Bob could do this same format!!!
