Which Boat Runs Better In Rougher Water..33 PP Or 33 AT
First off, Im not trying to start a war..Im doing some research for a buddy who is looking at another 33 foot boat that I dont want him to buy. I suggested these two models, and have been on both, but only 1-2's...and dont have enough seat time to answer his questions properly. As to comfort and size I gave the nod to AT.. as to looks I choose PP.. Which boat is quicker and handles various types of water...better Thanks for the help. Jeff

My buddy has a 32 AT and I have a 33PP. what ya wanna know? both are great riding but the PP is a little smoother ride in the rough. As far as comparing the two both have high points and lows...

been in the 1st AT 33 built steves boat in a lot of different water from 1 to 2s to 5 footers and in pokerruns the boat is awesome no chinewalk even opening it up to plus 90 steve has had it to with 525s, I have seen high 80s in the runs with 5 and 6 people in the boat. I have had pp33 race boat run with me off of plymouth it looked good but them AT 33s have lots of room side by side seating is great. steve hit 94 I think he said last fall before selling it. plus full bath with s by s seating below. good luck

I think a powerplay 33 was the other boat, what about a 34 saber heard they will build if someone orders one. all 3 nice hulls and fast. but it would be cool to see a twin 800hp motors and konrad ace drives go on a new boat in these sizes saber 34 or AT33 OR 37.

i have a 33PP and my best friend has a 33AT w/525s that i have about 100hours in so i have been in both for a lot of hours......what do you want to know??? the PP has a softer entry due to being a true v, the AT has a pad so its a little stiffer ride.....that being said, i think these boats are very close in the rough and it depends on the driver and set-up. i think my boat has an advantage over the 33 AT because i have #4's on boxes which puts my props over 4 feet off of the transom

I would think 112 to 115 mph , cost would be cheaper than any of the 600 or 700 packages and use efi na motors 572 598 or 540 whipples last a long time with the right builder. man if I hit them 6 lotto numbers I would do it maybe but really it would be a AT 37 OR OL42 or if real big winnings a vee and a 46 turbine skater or OL cat have one in cape cod bay other over by fallriver MASS or RI at marinas having a house with a dock would mean really big winnings. just dreaming cause I would need a sportfisher Donzi 70 and a race boat so thats 4 boats. later making maple syrup or booze its been sitting for 2 weeks the sap see yah if I don't blow up.
