Says Banana on tyhe side i went to check it out but the Hin doesnt seem right for a banana and Charlie said it wasnt one. So what is it. I looked up the Hin and the componey that it said builds them but it doesnt come back right. I cant find it in NADA. Here is the HIN CERT8008I686. Comes back as C&E Ryder componey from Bristol R.I. But seems they never ,made a little speed boat just large sail boats and a couple 28/35 fishing boats. So what it is?

I'm not convinced that the HIN will help much. I know that my Sunseeker HIN number starts with SUN, but SUN according to the MIC is a "Smoker Craft". I had a huge hassle with the Orange County Tax Collector for years because they said they were collecting property tax on a $465K "Smoker Craft". Took me a few years to straighten that out.....but I guess in 1994, SUN was Sunseeker for a bit, then was assigned to SmokerCraft later.

Does it look like a Smoker Craft? :D :D

"...I686" translates to a build date of September 1986. Does that help?

Can't tell, but its awfully large to be supported by only a double axle trailer:party-smiley-004:

One Shadow cat was built years after the company closed. The molds were taken to a competition sailboat builder in Newport, Rhode Island for light weight advanced composite construction and the hull carried that builders HIN. Perhaps this was a similar undertaking?
