Default Pulse Drives-are they still in business?

Just curious, is the PULSE drive company still in business? Their web site is down. They use to have one of their surface drives on a raceboat "Afraid Knot".

I think Young Performance Marine may know where there is a used pulse drive.

Default Fraid Knot Pulse Drive

I have the drive. I pulled it off the Harry Schoell infinity in favor of a bravo a few years ago. I thought the Pulse was ill handling until I ran the bravo. Pulse drive was about 8 mph faster too.

LaudBoat,
Thanks for posting the Pics! I saw a Pulse drive for sale and was thinking about a project. I'm assuming they are no longer being mfg.? I like the simple design, and met Harry when "Afraid Knot" was racing. Thats impressive picking up 8mph over a Bravo!
F3,
Where is Young Performance Marine?
Thanks!

The one I removed I ended up sending to a guy in the Netherlands. He was installing it on a 40 Baja Outlaw with diesels. Haven't heard from him in a while....wonder how it's going.

In TN, just east of Nashville.

I still have 2 drop trannys for a pulse drive. They are ZF's with a 1.51:1 or 1.56:1 ratio, can't remember which. They were gone through by Huber and had some upgraded parts (shafts, clutches, etc) installed. I believe they are good to about 800 hp. Give me a shout if anyone is interested.

The bottom is. The Bird of Prey was really neat.
