30-33 center consoles
not going to happen this year but next boat will be a 30-33' center console with outboards, probably spend in the 40-60K range, speed is not the number one factor, need a boat that is built to handle rough water, we are at the mouth of the chesapeake bay and it can get extremely rough around here.
rank these boats from a quality/ride standpoint, 33 Powerplay 30 Concept 302 Scarab 29-30 Renegade 30 Lightning 30 Carrera 32 Dakota 328 Glasstream |
we have a 2008 32' fountain cc w/300 verados runs 63 , solid rough water boat , very roomy more so than alot others, have had up to 15 people w no problem.

So far I like the
32 Sonic (Dakota) 32 Concept 32-35 Donzi Still looking at more the Glasstream build and rigging did not impress me. |
I've already rode in rought water in the atlantic.
I'ld rank the boats like that: 33 Powerplay 29-30 Renegade 30 Concept 30 Carrera |

We just bought a 33' Powerplay CC. We love the layout. As far as build quality, they are top notch.

All the boats you metioned the Powerplay will ride the best in rough water
|
Surprised you think the Renegade is better quality than Concept. PP would be my first choice just few and far between. What about the Scarabs? never heard any negatives and beacuse there so many around you can get them relatively cheap.

Superboat is currently building a 30 ft. CC outboard model. It has a race proven hull in offshore racing. Best bang for the buck. Call John Cohen at 631-226-1761.
