 Ssswwweeeeeettt!!!

Sean 04-23-2002 08:30 AM

Cool!

Has anyone been able to keep a set of transmissions and drives together for any length of time with those motors? I remember hearing early on that these powerplants were chewing up gearboxes like chicklets...

CigDaze 04-23-2002 08:59 AM

That's exactly what the torque guys were saying when I spoke to them in Miami...Thousands of hours on their test motors with no problems, but it is difficult to channel all that power to the water successfully. Definate gear masher!

Mike C 04-23-2002 09:37 AM

Awesome Boat!!!
You guys haven't left yet, Arizona is a long way. We are looking forward to see that at the HeatWave poker run. Have a good trip.

......and the question is

"What happens to transmissions when 1150HP actually means 1150HP ?"

Any ideas on who can get this monster's power to the water?

Torque 1500sc

puder 04-23-2002 10:39 PM

i heard the trannies are actually holding together. Marc from BAM in FL said there is a hustler up around NY with torqV12 and they have held togther for like 50 hours so far. I might be another hustler with v12s but i doubt it. The low end torque from those NA 12s must be immense.

Now that bad boy is saying something...and no one is talking back.

Just awsome !!!!!!!!!!!!!

ROUGHSTUFF 04-28-2002 07:07 PM

So much power it blew the engine hatch right off!

C_Spray 04-28-2002 11:33 PM

Chip - Welcome to OSO! Things must have finally calmed down enough there at the factory to give you time to log on, huh?

Remember - since I let you drive my B-28 at Baltimore in 1999, you now have to let me drive your 444. (By the way, my boat still carries Mike's "Batman" sticker at the base of the windshield.)

You NEED to post a sound clip of those 1200's at full song.

Chuck

audio clips are a must!!!!!

I saw the boat run this weekend out at Havasu. What a nice rig. The owner was reall nice as well. He said so far 113mph was his tops. It seemed like it was taking some time to get on plane but who knows what was up, he could have been taking his time. :D:D

Semper Fi 04-29-2002 04:28 AM

I saw the Hustler in Havasu also this weekend. It was a sweet boat, and the tow vehicle (Peterbuilt) was equally as impressive. The owners were really nice also. The wife couldn't back the truck down the ramp.....so Lu Lyall (S.C.O.P.E. President) jumped in to save the day, way to go Lu!

Jassman 04-29-2002 07:53 AM

What an awesome looking boat, nice lines for a 44 plus boat, not bloated looking, and those motors look intimidating, cool. A great combination, Hustler and Torque:D

otcbb4me 04-30-2002 04:46 PM

I hope this works

This boat is now OH MAMA on Lake Powell

otcbb4me 04-30-2002 07:26 PM

Mbam 04-30-2002 11:50 PM

Yep, far as I know it has a pair of our Cyborg 1500 trans in it. I usually only hear the bad news directly so this is a good thing.

Boat Girl 09-25-2002 11:55 AM

Boat Girl 09-26-2002 08:09 AM

Rick252 09-26-2002 08:41 AM

Boat Girl 09-26-2002 11:16 AM
