I never let it bother me. Found it more amusing and intregued as to why many seem to HATE powerboaters so much. Kind've funny actually.

Same reason powerboaters HATE sailboaters. There is no logical reason. Some powerboaters hate go-fast powerboaters. Some sailboaters hate sailboaters who use auxiliary engines. Power and sailboaters both hate personal water craft boaters.

personal water craft is not the issues.. it the people on them. Most of them are idiots. but there are a "few" that respect the water and fellow boaters.

I haven't seen any of the later on the Detroit river yet! They ride like most of the idiots on crotch rockets. Balls to the wall and hair on fire. Screw safety and the safety of anyone around. As long as they look cool and are having fun.... Rant done.
