Honesty in advertising

Nothing some minor fiberglas work and a paint job won't fix:bsflag: |
Usually with a deal that sweet...you get a complimentary tube of KY jelly...didnt see it offered.

Ive seen and read quite a few ads this guy has ran. He seems to word them far to his advantage. I remember a couple of years ago , he had a Lamborghini, think it was a Gallardo , went on and on about getting the deal of a lifetime , and just register and have your dream car , and somewhere in the auction, in small print it had where the car had a Certificate of destruction ,and could not be legally registered or driven on any public streets . Love how he is a steam blower and makes all the false statements in his auction but he has his own set of rules at the bottom how he will prosecute non paying bidders...with exhorbinant charges and penalties

Isn't this the same guy that was trying to sell the 36' Spectre that was involved in an unfortunately fatal crash and was denying the boat was ever damaged? Uhh Rohhhh.
|
Notice how the belts are missing, but the hoses are in fine shape.
|
I will post the reply to my question to him...if I get one.
Minor fiberglass damage...the motors look seriously cooked...do you furnish a large jar of KY JELLY with this boat or is the transaction going to be dry? |
That is awesome......for a Cig. :) Does anyone know this boat?
|
was a pretty Tiger once :(
|
The best part has to be where he says fix it up or drive it like it is. Like you could hop in and go if you wanted to.
|
The blower belts are missing since they flew off because they were under tension. The hoses would take longer to burn since they were getting heat transfer cooling by the water inside of them.
|
The boat has been on Copart salvage for months. I bet he won the online bid, and is now trying to sell it from their yard and make a few bucks. The listing has the same pictures as Copart had on their site also. Hard to sell something and say the motors are good, when you have not even seen it in person. I wonder what the cabin looks likes? I see nothing wrong with it just a LITTLE smoke damage.:lolhit::lolhit:

Here you go guys...got a response from the dousche-bag. Dear paulslonaker, Dear Texas, please bid from the photos. You are a quick study, there was a fire here, not black paint that needs to be wiped off. My sons description takes a stab at some humor, but make no mistake it will take some work. I can assure you, the buyers here understand that. I suggest you not bid unless you can understand what you see from experience. Keep in mind you are looking at a boat worth well over a hundred grand. Thanks for looking. - murcielago8898 |

I think the people making a bid on this POS are dreaming that the motors survived the cook-out. I seriously doubt that the motors survived...especially the blowers. Gas fires burn pretty hot and aluminum doesnt tolerate that at all.
|
wonder if he even owns it ? I think a lot of people find stuff like that and throw it on ebay to see what kind of bids they can pull ,and then try to win the copart auction.

OK guys...sit down on the floor for his latest response to me. This way you wont fall off a chair and possibly hurt yourself...
Dear paulslonaker, In a few weeks I will be driving this boat on a poker run, what will you be doing? Laughing I guess! I know I am. Who cares what keyboard cowboys think of themselves? Some do life, some type. - murcielago8898 Did this answer your question? If not, let the seller know. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: paulslonaker To: murcielago8898 Subject: Re: paulslonaker has sent a question about item #150431681691, ending on Apr-14-10 20:31:55 PDT - 2002 CIGARETTE OCEAN RACER!! Sent Date: Apr-11-10 08:29:05 PDT Dear murcielago8898, I will just pass onthe boat. The boat WAS worth over 100K when it was new and no damage...the key words here are NEW and NO DAMAGE. I do fiberglass work and I KNOW what it is going to roughfully cost. As for the motors...more than likely...they are ruined. I can assure you that the blowers are worthless now. Your son's attempt to the humor thing is NOT truthful. You can use the humor thing for a cop-out, but that dog wont hunt and your listing and your son are the laughing stock on OffShoreOnly.com. - paulslonaker -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: murcielago8898 To: paulslonaker Subject: Re: paulslonaker has sent a question about item #150431681691, ending on Apr-14-10 20:31:55 PDT - 2002 CIGARETTE OCEAN RACER!!
