Help Mr. Whipple!
 

Suppose to leave for Desert Storm in two days and the main bearing that spins the blower took a ****. I have the old style side mounted blowers on 502 mpi's. Going to call Dustin in an hour. Maybe they can fix it on the way to Desert Storm. If Dustin doesn't have the parts to fix it - I'm open to suggestions. Does anyone have one of these old style blowers for sale? Thanks Matt

He usually exchanges it for one off the shelf that has been rebuilt.

Correct. And if my memory does not fail me, which it often does, there was a falling out with the manufacturer a few years back.

I am sure Dustin will chime in here soon and have a solution.

Is it the snout that went bad? Buy the parts and have them shipped to havasu. Bring your tools with you and change it out there?

The people @ whipple are great! They said,get the blower to them ASAP. I'm leaving tomorrow morning.

I got one here in Vegas and we will be down at desert storm on thursday mid day..

It came off my 502 mag mpi.. I even have the 2 computers.

I have the complete assembly minus the lower pulley.. I have a few top pulleys and belts also.. Worked great but went back to carb on the 540..

Call me at 702-210-0088 and we can hook up..
