You know it scary. Yeah a lot of the time stuff like this is caused by stupidity, but accidents do still happen...

I agree... Does anyone have frist-hand knowlege of the blower situation??? Article said boat idled away????

FWIW, before I was born my father owned a Sidewinder jet boat in the 70's.... He did everything he was supposed to do and when he started it the boat exploded and threw him off the boat and onto the dock.... He had some minor burns, scrapes and a bruised ego but luckily he survived given the circumstances...

Accidents happen, that's for sure.
