Default Sarasota OSS I need info, thanks!!

Some of you know i moved out to hawaii chasing a dream and so far its great. I have my two week vacation coming up and want to schedule it around the sarasota fl OSS race.

My Dad's mom lives there and I would love to take time to go see her and hang with my pops at the same time while I have the chance too and for us to enjoy this great sport we grew up around. "Granted, if my pops can meet me there to do it pending his buisness schedule and everything."

Just would like to know the details, hot spots for hotels and what the schedule looks like. when to go, etc.

I checked out OSS website but would like to get some personal input.

thanks guys and gals on helping our vacation work out for the best this year! Cheers

Charlie

Not trying to start a political pissing match but it is a joint race with SBI as the host and www.superboat.com is where the detailed schedule is currently. I noticed that the OSS site is in "Dry Dock".

The Hyatt is more or less the central hotel within walking distance to the pits and the wet pits directly in back. Most of the parties happen there as well. The parade is a huge event. You will definitly have a great time!!
