Default Best Anchor for 35'?

Looking for a good anchor for my 35'. I've searched and see the box anchor is one alternative. Any other suggestions? Usually anchor from the stern in back of a cove. I want one that will fit under the rear seat and be easy to use.

Who on the forum sells? Thanks.

The box anchor works very well. I bought the large anchor for my 34' cat. Held 3 boats all day in strong winds during the OSS race at Cumberland. Don't mess with anything else.

Ditto, I've had two over the years, threw my Fortress away and was happy to do so. This one is the real deal.

I have a F-37 Fortress on my 47' Post. First class anchor and very light weight. I would suggest the F-22 for your 35' cat. I have a used one here for $ 60 if that helps.

With the box anchor, will the small size handle my boat? I don't want overkill, and want to be sure that it fits under the back seat. But also want to be sure that it will hold. No current, mud bottom, but able to deal with wind. Thanks, again.

I had the large for my 33' PowerPlay, it held well. It's a heavy bugger that's for sure. I've heard of people holding larger boats with the smaller anchor, just do a search on the Box Anchor, there's tons of threads on it.

Box anchor, the best I've found. I have the medium size, I use it with a Formula 353, at Lake Cumberland. Huge lake, and we get some very strong winds. When we are rafted up, most everybodys anchor in high winds will move or break loose (lime rock bottom), ours always holds.

agree with the box anchor, also depending on the bottom where you boat. here we have lots of silt so i have a smaller mushroom style as well.
